“In 2012, I found myself at a pivotal moment in my life. A challenge in my career left me at a turning point, unsure of what the future would hold. In search of clarity and inspiration, I set out on a soul-searching retreat to the spiritual heart of Ubud, Bali - a journey that would transform everything.​ 

It was there, surrounded by the serene beauty of nature, that I was captivated by the lotus flower. Their delicate blooms, rose above the murky waters, floating vibrant and pure, untouched by the darkness below. In that moment, I realised that beauty and strength can emerge even from the most challenging circumstances.​ 

That profound moment stayed with me, and as I sat by the water, I began sketching the lotus, drawing it petal by petal - each one reflecting its journey, rising from the mud, untouched and radiant. That sketch soon evolved into our iconic lotus, a symbol of growth, transformation, and inner beauty. ​ 

​Wanting to carry its message close, I placed the lotus on a piece of jewellery, so it would rest near my heart and offer daily inspiration - a symbol others could also hold close as a reminder of their own strength and beauty.​

Charlotte Blakeney’s story is one of growth, passion and an unwavering belief in the transformative power of connections. Raised on the beaches of Perth, Australia, Charlotte had always been drawn to beauty of nature, creativity and storytelling. As an editorial makeup artist, she over two decades passionately making women feel confident, empowered, and their most radiant. Alongside her career, she nurtured a quiet love for jewellery, collecting meaningful keepsakes that marked chapters of her life. 

In 2012, after navigating a dark chapter in her life, Charlotte sought clarity and deeper purpose. During a retreat in Ubud, Bali, she discovered and connected with the lotus flower: a symbol of resilience and growth that mirrored her own journey. With no formal experience in the jewellery industry but a deep creative drive, she poured her heart into designing her first piece, the Lotus Necklace - hoping to inspire others to show themselves the same compassion and grace that had guided her path. 

Returning home to Australia, she set out to share her creations and message with the world. She tapped into the creative network she had built over years in the fashion and beauty industry, sharing her designs with stylists, models, and friends - leading to a defining moment when Rosie Huntington-Whiteley wore her Lotus Necklace on the cover of Harper’s BAZAAR. From that single piece blossomed a global brand grounded in meaning and intention. 

Today, as a mother, founder, director, and the creative force behind the brand, Charlotte continues to lead by charlotte - drawing on her passions for travel, mindfulness, and connection to self and others. Now based in Sydney, Australia, her vision remains the same: to create meaningful jewellery that empowers each wearer to embrace their journey, honour their growth, and bloom into their most radiant selves.
