How to clean 18k solid gold jewellery

• Regularly wiping your 18k gold with a soft, lint-free cloth can help remove oils and residue, preserving its natural gleam.
• For a deeper clean, a solution of mild dish soap and warm water, combined with a gentle brushing using a soft-bristle brush, or by using Hagerty Jewel Clean can revitalise even the dullest pieces.

How to store 18k solid gold jewellery

• Before storing, ensure that your jewellery is clean and dry. 
• Keep pieces in a lined jewellery box with compartments or individual soft pouches to prevent scratches and friction.
• Store in a cool, dry, dark place away from moisture, heat, direct sunlight and chemicals.
• Consider using anti tarnish strips or silica gel packets to absorb moisture and prevent oxidation.
• Store 18k solid gold jewellery separately from other metals.
  

Chain Slider

To help preserve the condition of the slider and ensure lasting performance, we kindly recommend setting the slider to the preferred length while holding the ball slider firmly with one hand and then using the lobster clasp for daily wear and removal.

Please note, frequent repositioning of the slider may contribute to natural wear over time. This natural wear is not covered under our Warranty Policy.

By Charlotte accepts returns within 60 days of purchase. This extended holiday return period applies to all orders placed between 5 November 2025 and 2 January 2026.

Our standard 30 day return period applies to orders placed outside of these dates.

• Items must be returned in their original condition, undamaged, unworn and properly secured in the by charlotte box provided.
